Army Picks AAI For Tactical UAV Production Contract

AAI Corporation has won a contract award for the production of new Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, the Army announced last week. AAI, of Hunt Valley, MD, signed a $41.8 million deal for four low-rate initial production versions of its "Shadow 200" UAV, according to a Dec. 27 Army statement.
