Army Releases GCV Request For Proposals

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL -- The Army today released a request for proposals for the Ground Combat Vehicle, the replacement for the terminated Future Combat Systems manned ground vehicles. The document, posted on the TACOM Life Cycle Management Command Web site, calls for the development of "the next-generation Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) for the United States Army, making the program a key effort in Army modernization.
