Army releases 'market survey' in anticipation of Abrams tank production

The Army has released what it calls a "market survey" for companies interested in manufacturing upgraded Abrams main battle tanks, though any other company than current manufacturer General Dynamics Land Systems getting the job would be nothing short of a miracle. Within the program executive office ground combat systems, the main battle tank systems directorate is seeking "written information from industry to determine current market manufacturing capability to produce future Abrams M1A2 System Enhancement Program Version 3 (SEPv3) tanks," according...
