Army Reports 'Mixed Success' in PAC-3 Test

A test of the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 air and missile defense system today resulted in a successful intercept of a jet aircraft emitting radar-jamming signals, the Army announced. An attempted intercept of a ballistic missile, however, was unsuccessful, the service said. The test was held at the Army's White Sands Missile Range, NM. Results were based on preliminary data.
