Army Rolls Out $142 Billion Request for Fiscal Year 2010; Reset Totals $11 Billion

The Army today proposed a $142.1 billion base budget for fiscal year 2010, along with $83.1 billion in supplemental funding. The base budget reflects a small increase over the FY-09 budget of $140.12 billion, though the supplemental proposal is smaller than the $90 billion included in the FY-09 bridge funding bill and the outstanding supplemental request.
