Army seeking Soldier Borne Sensor equipment for evaluation

The Army will soon conduct "fly-off" tests of potential unmanned aircraft systems for use by individual soldiers, according to a solicitation notice. As a form of early experimentation , the Army is holding an in-person industry day and one-on-one sessions Jan. 16 and 17 at Ft. Belvoir, VA, for vendors to deliver complete Soldier Borne Sensor systems and vie for a contract, to be awarded in the third quarter of FY-18.
