Army Selects Bell and Boeing-Sikorsky Designs For JMR Demo Phase (Updated)

The Army has chosen designs offered by Bell Helicopter and a Boeing-Sikorsky team for the service's Joint Multi-Role helicopter science and technology air vehicle demonstration, the companies announced on Aug. 12. Sikorsky-Boeing's Defiant and Bell's V-280 Valor were chosen over designs developed by AVX Aircraft company and Karem Aircraft, respectively.
