Army's Robotic Combat Vehicle to have three variants

DETROIT -- The director of the Army's Next Generation Combat Vehicle cross-functional team this week detailed initial plans to develop the Robotic Combat Vehicle. Brig. Gen. Ross Coffman told industry leaders here at AUSA's Autonomy and Artificial Intelligence Symposium that the CFT is looking into developing small, medium and heavy variants of the RCV -- "chassis with multiple payloads that you could put chemical detection, small weapons" on.
