Assad: Expect 'Downward Trend' In JSF Price Negotiations With Lockheed This Fall

The Pentagon is expecting a "downward trend" in price negotiations with Lockheed Martin on the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program, according to a senior DOD official. "We're in the process of evaluating the Lockheed proposal as well as the subcontractors' proposal," Pentagon pricing director Shay Assad told reporters in Washington today.
