Bell-Boeing awarded deal for V-22 aerial refueling system development

The Navy awarded the manufacturers of the V-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft a deal late last month to begin developing and integrating an aerial refueling system for the aircraft. The V-22 Aerial Refueling System, or VARS, is being developed for Marine Corps aircraft. On May 26, the Bell-Boeing joint project office was awarded a $58.7 million delivery order for "non-recurring engineering and logistics services in support of the development and integration of the V-22 aerial refueling system for the MV-22," according...
