BMDS Price Tag Increases By $4.4 Billion, To $132 Billion

The price tag for the collection of weapons programs that comprise the Ballistic Missile Defense System increased by more than $4 billion over the last year, bringing the estimated total cost to develop and acquire the Missile Defense Agency-managed projects to $132 billion, the Pentagon reported to Congress last week.
