Boeing and Sikorsky Awarded $3.2 Billion Comanche Contract

The Pentagon yesterday awarded the Boeing Sikorsky Comanche Team a $3.2 billion contract for the helicopter program's engineering and manufacturing development phase. The joint venture will receive $147.5 million as the first increment of the contract, according to a June 1 Defense Department statement.
