Boeing Awarded $800 Million C-40 Contract

The Air Force today awarded Boeing an $800 million contract for as many as seven C-40 aircraft and up to 10 years' worth of associated contractor logistics support. The C-40 is a military version of the 737-700C passenger jet, which can carry 120 people. The C-40 is designed to replace the Boeing C-9 airlifter now in service around the world.
