Boeing Wins $4.5 Billion B-1 Sustainment Contract

The Defense Department today announced the award of a 15-year, $4.5 billion B-1 sustainment contract to Boeing's McDonnell Douglas. The B-One Next Enhancement (BONE) deal is designed to ensure the bomber remains an operationally safe, suitable and effective platform through fiscal year 2017, according to the Air Force.
