Brown & Root Services has been picked to manage the Cooperative Threat Reduction program's Liquid-fuel ICBM project, an effort to assist Russia in dismantling long-range missiles, silos and launchers. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency awarded Brown & Root the first $10 million of an $81.8 million cost-plus-award-fee contract yesterday (Aug. 22), the Defense Department announced.
