Bush Announces Pick for Pentagon IG Post

The White House announced today that Joseph Schmitz, a Washington, DC-based attorney, is the administration's pick for Pentagon inspector general. Schmitz is a partner at Patton Boggs, where he specializes in aviation regulation, international trade, administrative law and "constitutional litigation practice," according to the firm's web site.
