Bush Picks Former Army Assistant Secretary for No. 2 Navy Job

President Bush has nominated Susan Livingstone for the position of under secretary of the Navy, the White House announced yesterday. Livingstone served as assistant secretary of the Army for installations, logistics and environment from 1989 through 1993. She is the deputy chairman and chief executive officer of the Association of the U.S. Army's Board of Trustees. Livingstone has also worked for the Red Cross.
