Canceled maintenance for Gunston Hall will cost taxpayer additional $66M

The Navy revealed this week a canceled maintenance availability in 2011 for the dock landing ship Gunston Hall (LSD-44) will cost taxpayers almost triple, from $44.7 million to $111 million, according to a service official.
