Chiarelli: Army to Move 'As Rapidly As We Can' on Vehicle Modernization Effort

Marking the Army's first public response since Defense Secretary Robert Gates announced the cancellation of the vehicle component of the Future Combat Systems program early this month, a top official said today the Army is "totally committed" to a new vehicle modernization effort.
