Companies Submit Bids For Joint Light Tactical Vehicle

Three defense contractors competing to build the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle for the Army and the Marine Corps have announced the submissions of their proposals to the government. The companies -- Oshkosh, Lockheed Martin and AM General -- were picked in 2012 to build prototypes for the program, designed to replace the venerable humvee. Tuesday was the deadline to submit bids for a production contract covering up to 17,000 vehicles. The service has requested $308 million in fiscal year 2016...
