Congressional Democrats propose bill to halt nuclear SLCM

Congressional Democrats have proposed legislation to stop work on the nuclear-armed sea-launched cruise missile program, a program which the Pentagon re-started in 2018. Rep. Joe Courtney (D-CT) and Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) introduced a bill last week to stop research and development, production and deployment of the N-SLCM. The bill was first reported by Politico .
