Costs of Meeting QDR Requirements Seen Differently by CSIS, CSBA

Steven Kosiak of the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments believes a new report by the Center for Strategic and International Studies critical of the Defense Department's spending plan is "deeply flawed" in its estimation of the gap between DOD requirements and funding. The CSIS report claims that the Defense Department is heading for a "train wreck" unless DOD budgets are substantially increased or commitments scaled back.
