Courtney, Langevin still cautious on Navy unmanned plans

Lawmakers and unmanned system experts discussed the future of, and hesitancy toward, Navy unmanned systems during an industry event on Tuesday. House Armed Services seapower and projection forces subcommittee Chairman Joe Courtney (D-CT) said his subcommittee has had some "traumatic experiences" with new Navy platforms. “The Littoral Combat Ship, the Zumwalt Destroyer, the Ford-class Carrier -- we are still to this day dealing with investment decisions, which with the benefit of hindsight, might’ve gone in a different direction,” Courtney said...
