COVID-19 delays first Combat Rescue Helicopter deliveries by 30 days

Sikorsky will deliver the first production lot of HH-60W Combat Rescue Helicopters one month later than expected next year because of issues created by the coronavirus pandemic, according to an Air Force spokesman. Brian Brackens told Inside Defense in an email Tuesday the "30-day delay" is due to "COVID-19 workforce impacts at prime and contractor facilities," but didn't provide more specifics.
