CSC Establishes Corporate Alliance to Go After Navy/Marine Corps Intranet Contract

Computer Sciences Corporation has formed a 64-member alliance to go after the multibillion-dollar Navy/Marine Corps Intranet contract, the company announced today. CSC hopes to be the prime contractor for the effort worth a potential $10 billion over five years. The alliance includes Bell Atlantic, Cisco Systems, Dell Computer and Microsoft, as well as a host of smaller member companies, according to the statement.
