Defense Acquisition Board Defers Decision on Navy's DD(X) Destroyer

The Defense Acquisition Board did not render a decision at its meeting this afternoon on the Navy's next-generation DD(X) destroyer, choosing instead to request more information and schedule another meeting in the next few weeks. The board was scheduled to decide on a milestone B decision. Approval from the board would have cleared the way for the program's system demonstration and development phase to begin.
