Defense Department Orders 1,000 More M-ATVs From Oshkosh

Oshkosh announced today that the Pentagon has placed an order for another 1,000 Mine Resistant Ambush Protected All-Terrain Vehicles, bringing the total ordered just 400 shy of the Joint Requirements Oversight Council-approved total of 6,644. In a statement, Oshkosh said the award is worth $438 million, bringing the total of the five M-ATV contracts issued to the company to $3.2 billion.
