Defense Department seeks reprogramming for small UAS, EUCOM needs

The Pentagon wants to reprogram nearly $30 million in fiscal year 2017 Air Force Overseas Contingency Operations funding to buy small unmanned aerial systems, portable command-and-control centers and other items to meet unexpected requirements, according to a document obtained by Inside Defense . Each procurement listed in the Sept. 22 reprogramming document , which is still under consideration, is a new-start program.
