Defense Policy Bill Addresses Cyber Espionage, Data Breaches

House and Senate authorizers' newly agreed-upon defense policy bill includes provisions on cyber espionage, small-business cybersecurity and breach-reporting rules for contractors. The bill would require President Obama to report annually to appropriate congressional committees on countries that engage in economic or industrial espionage in cyberspace in pursuit of U.S. trade secrets or proprietary information.
