DNI Blair Backs Idea of International Cyberwarfare 'Code of Conduct'

Feb. 12, 2009 -- Newly appointed Director of National Intelligence Dennis Blair said today that he would support the creation of an international pact between the United States and partner nations as part of a cooperative effort to combat cyberwarfare threats worldwide. Testifying before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence on the slate of national security threats, Blair agreed with members of the panel that the development of such an agreement would help the U.S. intelligence community glean valuable information...
