DOD Announces Sales to Italy, Israel and Singapore

Italy plans to purchase four F-16A aircraft and related equipment for $780 million, the Defense Department announced today. Israel and Singapore also plan significant purchases of U.S. equipment, DOD said. Israel wants to buy 35 UH-60L Black Hawk helicopters and related equipment for $525 million, while Singapore has asked for "up to 100" AIM-120C Advanced Medium Air-to-Air Missiles for $85 million. Italy would buy "four F-16A Block 10 operational capabilities upgrade aircraft for cannibalization, four Pratt & Whitney F-100-PW-200 spare...
