DOD, Boeing begin negotiations over $3.3B, first-ever Apache multiyear buy

The Defense Department has begun contract negotiations with Boeing to buy 275 Apache AH-64E helicopters, an estimated $3.3 billion, five-year deal that marks the first such multiyear procurement of the Army's premier attack helicopter, according to a service official.
