DOD to Co-Host Climate, Ozone Protection Conference

The Defense Department, the Environmental Protection Agency and the United Nations Environment Programme will co-host a summit in early February on military organizations' role in ozone and climate protection, DOD announced yesterday. The Feb. 6-8 conference will be held in Brussels. "More than 100 senior military and environmental officials, industry experts and representatives of environmental organizations from more than 35 countries will participate," the DOD announcement states.
