DOD Leaders Expected to Approve New Wartime Contracting Office This Spring

Pentagon leaders are expected to soon approve plans to establish a new organization charged with managing war-related contracts in future conflicts, according to Defense Department officials. The new organization, called the Joint Contingency Contracting Office (JCCO), will consist of a headquarters element of approximately 30 contracting personnel. It will be led by a flag officer.
