The Defense Department has made three awards to companies intended to strengthen the supply chain for hypersonic missiles. The awards, which went to General Electric, Carbon-Carbon Advanced Technologies and Northrop Grumman, were made by DOD’s Manufacturing Capability Expansion and Investment Prioritization directorate through Defense Production Act investments.
