DOD Official: No Savings Anticipated From Early Bird's Termination

The Defense Department will not achieve savings by eliminating its daily Early Bird clip service and has not decided whether security officials elsewhere in government will receive access to its replacement, according to the Pentagon official who directed the change. “Cost was not a driving factor in this decision,” said Col.
