DOD Proposes Mandatory 'Law of War' Training for Contractors

The Pentagon has proposed an amendment to federal acquisition regulations that would require all defense contractors deploying overseas to have a basic understanding of the international laws of war, according to a Federal Register notice published today. The amendment would modify a clause in the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement governing the roles and responsibilities of contractors accompanying the military to faraway battlefields.
