DOD Seeks Relief From Provision In 2009 Acquisition Reform Law

The Defense Department wants Congress to moderate a key provision of the 2009 Weapons System Acquisition Reform Act that mandates a preliminary design review before the Pentagon's acquisition executive can formally initiate a new, big-ticket project.
