DOD shares more details about size, makeup of data center closure team

The Pentagon has shed more light on its announced plan to establish a new team to assess and recommend closing the most expensive and least efficient data centers. In an Aug. 25 email, Pentagon spokesman Lt. Col. James Brindle said the size of this data center closure team is "dependent on the needs of each assessment, but will typically be 12 to 18 personnel with emphasis on data center subject matter experts."
