DOD To Study Anti-Armor Requirements Again During the QDR

The Defense Department has informed the General Accounting Office that it will perform another examination of the services' requirements, plans and priorities for anti-armor weapons as part of the Quadrennial Defense Review. The evaluation is recommended by GAO, which today issued the latest in a long line of reports criticizing the military's process for determining how many tank killers it develops and purchases.
