DOT&E: CMV-22B 'not operationally suitable'

The Navy's new CMV-22B tiltrotor aircraft that will deliver cargo to aircraft carriers is "not operationally suitable," according to the "controlled unclassified information" version of the Pentagon director of operational test and evaluation's annual report. The report states that while the Navy’s Fleet Logistics Multi-Mission Squadron VRM-30, equipped with the CMV-22B is operationally effective, the CMV-22B itself is not operationally suitable.
