DTRA Awards $83 Million Cooperative Threat Reduction Contract to Raytheon

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency has awarded Raytheon an $83 million contract to support the government's Cooperative Threat Reduction program, the company announced in a statement yesterday. The contract, which includes a one-year base period followed by four one-year options, will help the CTR program reduce the number of weapons of mass destruction in the countries of the former Soviet Union, Raytheon said.
