As the Defense Department's focus shifts to the Asia-Pacific region, the Army is interested in a survivable vehicle that has a more robust water crossing capability, according to a BAE Systems executive. BAE Systems recently showed its Marine Personnel Carrier prototype at the Army's Maneuver Warfighter Conference at Ft. Benning, GA.
