Esper: $25B in Army cancellations, reductions will be backloaded in FYDP

The more than $25 billion in spending the Army is set to propose canceling, reducing or consolidating across the Pentagon's new five-year spending plan will be "backloaded," the service's secretary said today. Mark Esper announced in October the service had reached the $25 billion figure after a series of meetings with other senior Army leaders, referred to by some as "night court."
