F/A-18 infrared sensor initial operational capability slated for spring 2024

The Navy's newest version of the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet infrared sensor will be mission-capable in spring 2024, a change from the Navy's previous goal to reach IOC by the end of fiscal year 2022.
