With FARA cancelled, Army charts way forward on Launched Effects

With the Army's decision to end its Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft program earlier this year, officials touted the developmental Launched Effects initiative last week at the Association of the United States Army's annual trade show in Washington. The Army is developing three variants of Launched Effects, or small drones that shoot out of aircraft and vehicles: Short Range (range of 40 to 125 km) Medium Range (range of 100 to 500 km) Long Range (range of 200 to 1,000 km)...
