First F-35C Delivered To Eglin; First Flight Set For August

The first Joint Strike Fighter F-35C was delivered on Saturday to Eglin Air Force Base, FL, where it is expected to fly for the first time in August, according to a Navy official. The F-35C carrier version is the last JSF variant to arrive at Eglin, the site of all JSF flight training. The Marine Corps and Air Force versions are already operating at Eglin.
