Five Contracts Awarded for Additional Test Vehicles in M-ATV Initiative

All of the remaining bidders in the fast-paced Mine Resistant Ambush Protected All-Terrain Vehicle competition have been informed they will move forward, allowing for additional survivability and mobility testing of their vehicles before a production decision in June. A military official told Inside the Army the government today awarded two contracts to BAE Systems, which is pushing two different vehicles, as well as separate deals to Oshkosh, Navistar and Force Dynamics, a Force Protection and General Dynamics Land Systems partnership...
