NATIONAL HARBOR, MD -- The Air Force would be unwise to transfer its personnel recovery mission from Air Combat Command to Air Force Special Operations Command, despite the uncertainty surrounding recapitalization of ACC’s search-and-rescue helicopter fleet, according to its commanding officer.
