GAO Calls for Improved Guidance on Analyses of Alternatives

Though the Pentagon has taken steps to improve the way analyses of alternatives are conducted, the Government Accountability Office contends the Department of Defense still has work to do to ensure AOAs successfully inform the business case for starting new programs.
